FAQs

  • I believe that true expertise is rooted in embodied wisdom, where lived experience and personal insights are the foundations from which I am able to guide others. While formal qualifications are not the sole measure of expertise, I recognise that they offer reassurance and a sense of trust for many individuals. For those who find comfort in knowing, I have listed them below:

    • Yoga Therapy Student

    • 50 hour Yin Yoga Teacher, I studied with Sampoorna Yoga

    • 200 hour Yoga Teacher

      • Not all yoga teacher trainings are created equally and it’s important to consider who your yoga teacher learned from. I studied with Lila Wellness in-person in Bali led by expert yoga instructor Emily Chen, board-certified psychiatrist Dr. Marguerite Pinard, and embodied breathwork and meditation instructor Bobby.

    • First Class BSc Psychology (Hons)

  • Yes, absolutely. While my private group sessions are intentionally designed for up to 4 people to maintain a deeply personalised and intimate feel, I’m more than happy to accommodate larger groups for special occasions, retreats, or community gatherings.

For groups of 5 or more, the structure and space will shift slightly to ensure that everyone feels seen and supported, while still offering a grounded, nourishing experience – we’ll work together to shape something that aligns with your group’s needs, size, and intention.

I recommend getting in touch either via email ginevra@releaseflowyoga.com or by booking a connection call so we can explore what’s possible — whether it’s adapting the session length, creating a themed workshop, or incorporating additional elements.

  • Not at all. These sessions are designed to be inclusive and accessible, no matter your background with yoga. Whether some of you are new and others have been practising for years, the session will be thoughtfully adapted to meet each person where they are -with options, modifications, and plenty of permission to listen to your own body.

  • Sessions can take place in person (in the Chelmsford, Essex area, please note there will be an additional charge for travel) — either in one of your homes, a hired space (at your own cost), or outdoors (weather permitting). I also offer sessions online via Zoom, so you can gather from multiple locations and practice from the comfort of your own space.

  • You’re welcome to book a one-off session for a special occasion, or a series of sessions if you'd like to deepen your group practice over time. If you’re unsure, we can start with a single session and see how it feels for everyone.

  • Private group sessions are usually 60 minutes, giving us enough time to settle in, move intuitively, and close with integration and rest. If you'd like a shorter or longer session, this can also be arranged.

  • Yes! Some groups love slow, grounding sessions with yin or gentle flow. Others want a more fluid, energising flow. Often, it’s a mix of both. During booking, you’ll be invited to share your intentions or preferences so I can create something that really meets your group’s energy.

  • I choose not to offer hands on adjustments for a variety of reasons. I will of course verbally cue you and invite you to make adjustments yourself, but it’s really important that you feel complete autonomy over your practice and your body. My focus as a teacher is on how the asanas feel in your body, rather than aesthetic alignment (of course there is nuance to this, including ensuring safety). You know what feels best in your body, and it’s about nurturing this relationship with yourself, and cultivating a sense of self-trust through intuitive movement.

It's also significant to mention that anatomically our range of motion differs from person to person, and is influenced by skeletal structure (e.g. experiencing compression instead of tension). You are unique and your practice should reflect this. The poses should always be adjusted to support you, you should never have to force yourself into a pose to fit the textbook way that it ‘should’ look.

  • If we’re meeting online, each person will need a yoga mat and comfortable space to practice, and anything that helps you feel supported (like cushions, a blanket, or a journal). For in-person sessions, each person will need a yoga mat, and I’ll let you know if anything else may be needed depending on the location.

  • Yes - if you're interested, we can add a layer of ritual to your session (such as a new moon intention, seasonal theme, or sabbat-inspired practice), or incorporate tarot/oracle guidance to support deeper reflection – just tick the tarot/oracle or connecting to the elements and nature options on the form when booking. If you have something specific in mind please let me know and we can co-create a magical experience.
