Your sacred space to explore your authentic self

Hello, I’m Ginevra

I’m a yoga teacher and yoga therapy student with a background in psychology particular interest in mental health, complex chronic illness, identity, ancestral and intergenerational patterns, and the liminal spaces we move through when life changes shape.

My approach is grounded, creative and person-centred, weaving together movement, meditation, breathwork, somatic inquiry, experiential practices and space for spirituality where it feels meaningful to you.

My own lived experience of anxiety, depression, grief and chronic illness, alongside years of personal psychotherapy, shapes the sensitivity, curiosity and depth I bring to this work, while always recognising that your experience is uniquely your own.

Working with me is paced around your capacity, shaped collaboratively, and grounded in the understanding that insight is only one part of change. I don’t work from a fixed script or assume that one method will fit everyone. We pay attention to what’s happening in your body, energy, mind, emotions, relationships and wider life, drawing on the approaches which feel most relevant in the moment. We can explore what’s happening without forcing meaning, pathologising your responses or treating you as a problem to solve.

I work online with clients across the UK and internationally.

A Letter to you

If you’re living with chronic illness you may have experienced emotions which can be difficult to name, things you may be afraid to say out loud, the grief of a life, identity and future that has shifted, and even the fear that can come with turning towards a body that has become unpredictable or painful.

I don’t strip illness of it’s complexity and nuance by reducing it down to one cause, telling you that everything can be traced back to a single ‘root’, or suggesting that a practice (e.g. nervous system regulation) will somehow make your condition disappear. While illness can affect multiple bodily systems and processes, as well as our mind, it doesn’t mean that those things caused it in isolation. Your illness is not your fault and I don’t pretend to be able to cure it. What I can offer is a space where we can work with the reality of what you’re living through, someone to hold on to hope when it feels too delicate to carry on your own without asking you to perform positivity, and an understanding that chronic illness rarely stays neatly contained within the body instead reaching into mental health, career, relationships, independence, finances, sexuality, identity, belonging, sense of safety, plans for the future and the way you understand yourself. I appreciate that chronic illness rarely arrives in isolation, with symptoms and conditions potentially overlapping, interacting and fluctuating, making a complex experience even more challenging to navigate as each diagnosis is often considered separately rather than in the context of you as a whole person.

You don’t have to perform recovery, find the silver lining, turn your illness into a lesson, convince me that you’re ill, trying hard enough, or make your experience more palatable. We can work with what’s actually here, at a pace that your body and capacity can support, finding ways of relating to yourself and your life which feel more sustainable, empowering and your own. You may simply want to be witnessed in an experience that is incredibly hard to carry alone, with contradictions that don’t always have somewhere else to go.

Yoga offers us a process of uncovering, remembering, and reclaiming our expression and autonomy.

We follow the threads that emerge through your experience, weaving together embodied, creative, and experiential approaches that are shaped around you.
